“The fish is wonderful.”

“I hate bones.”

“What about spare ribs?” (64)
“I’m stuffed”, Jack moaned.

Sally found that pretty eerie. He looked like a skeleton. (85)

These are great! –especially entry number one: “Jack dressed casually and told great jokes, but Sally still thought he was a stuffed shirt.

Love the word play! (But I’m afeared Sally’s looking a little anorexic around the gills! Perhaps a course of several Trick or Treat bags would do her body good. YIKES! Now I’m sounding like an idiot doctor with a Sears and Roebuck medical degree. LOL!)

    Happy Halloweeny!

    Enjoyed them all. Great fun.

Wow GMa, you’re first today! :) Was it aa timed entry?

I dare say that Sally is better dressed than the bare chested Jack. Gets my vote!

Next would be the third as it used the word, eerie. Yes, skeletons don’t make for pleasant eating as we feel guilty eating very much. :)

This is a great photo for SY stories–There are so many ways it is funny—the stuffed shirts, the skeleton designs, the cowboy outfit, the tacos (or whatever that food is that’s on the table). And…ta da…You hit them all with your trifecta! I think you win the Microfiction Queen coronation this week, Grandma. My favorite was the second, because it’s similar to a dumb thing I would say.

  6. Helen Says:

Enjoyed them all ha ha – Happy Halloween!

Three great ones! Funny how often we tap into a similar thread. Great minds, Grandma!

They are all good! Not sure which one I like best
