Awaiting Gifts
Shrek and Fiona always brought presents, when they returned from their travels. Donkey couldn’t wait. (102)

Hygiene Shifts
Donkey used to have such a brilliant smile. “His breath is worse than an ogre’s”, Fiona confided to Shrek. (106)

Causing Rifts
“Dental floss and toothpaste?” Donkey muttered, as he futilely searched the gift bags for his favorite coffee and cigarettes. (126)

Tears and Sniffs
Donkey wailed his disappointment. Shrek blustered, while Fiona tried to sooth. She even offered to paint his toenails. Not her best idea. (138)

Love the first one, GMa ~~ Donkeys are a lot like children, they like presents when their owners return from holiday. :)

Another funny, fearsome foursome, Grandma! My favorites are 1st – Tears and Sniffs (especially the last line) and 2nd – Causing Rifts – especially the donkey searching for his favorite coffee and cigarettes. I had zoomed in on his bad teeth, too.

Dental hygiene and a bit of polish on the toes can lift anyone’s spirit!!
