Maybe the description of what she was wearing put him off! ;)

  2. Anthony North Says:

I sincerely hope Jane likes her own company :-)

I quite like entertaining the thought that Jane chose to double-blind date, hooking up with the two “gentlemen” referred to as the “Masters of the Universe”!

I love how you’ve been adding a video-connect to your already awesome SY takes. Keep ‘em coming!

    Luv, SparkleFarkle~~~~~*

P.S. It’s unbelievable hom many seemingly macho-type guys wear skirts, shopping at Walmart –not to mention those customers sporting “floss”! And, by the bye, I’m no longer hungry for rump roast. LOL!

  4. Pat Says:

Poor Jane…stood up by her prospective blind date and then had to make do with a bizarre guy at WM. Actually, she looks totally normal compared to the people in the video. Quite hilarious, as usual. I confess that I shop at WalMart.

  5. Pooch Says:

Verrry impressive to have your story complete with video! Looks like she fits right in with the Walmart crowd. ;)

I love those WalMart pictures! You have found a nice YouTube video. I’ve sneaked a frew shots there myself,

Did her guy dress in black underwear or was he wearing red sweat pants and no shirt? Either of those would my pick for her.

I would tell mt students to have dog as people will stop for a bit for a dog petting.

Another way for students to meet is to bake brownies and borrow a cup of sugar from the one they want to meet. Even if the brownies are coming from a mix. Then bring him/her a fresh brownie when they’re done. A couple of days later return the sugar. That is three ‘legitimate’ visits.

No. 2 is my fave. I am thinking that her clothing description scared the poor guy away. :)

    I shop there too, Pat.

I think the video is funny, even revealing. lol There is a second video and even a website: http://www.peopleofwalmart.com/.

It’s a bit like watching the shows that cleanup packrats’ homes. Even if the house is messy and my fashion choices are poor, I know I’ll look good in comparison. :D

Great read – a story told in three entries..:)

  9. Kay L. Davies Says:

Alas, poor Jane. Thank goodness there was always the WalMart option.
I did the one-story-in-three thing, too. Fun idea. Thanks!
