Shocking Finale

Sergio, the lineman, was hard at work one day.

Exactly just what happened? It is difficult to say,

but a sudden jolt of volts electrified his girth.

Detaching from his perch, he flew back down to earth.

Some say it was the landing, some say it was the surge.

No matter what the cause, it was a funeral dirge for Serg.


I couldn’t write about a lineman without thinking of Witchita Lineman. I really liked the pictures that accompany the song.
