These days, many people would opt to order cheesecake online. Surprisingly, many of them would shop online than buying cheesecakes from the nearest bake shops. Many of these people prefer to buy cheesecake from online stores for many reasons.

The advantage of convenience is the primary reason why many people would prefer to purchase cheesecake online. It is definitely an advantage to be able to shop any time, and that is the edge of online shops or stores these days. Online shops are open all day and night. Also, they offer deliver services to their clients, either for free or for an affordable delivery fee. Miss Muffin will celebrate her 10th birthday this summer. Calico and I had thought that Disneyland tickets would make a perfect gift. With a change in plans and a long distance move in our future, however, it will have to wait until next summer. It’s not a big deal, since we hadn’t let her in on the plans and there is no wrong age to visit Disneyland. I was in my fifties before I made my first trip and I was joined by my parents, who were approaching eighty. Many newlyweds enjoy Disney honeymoons and return in subsequent years with their families. My friend’s family visited with their four school aged children. They made their reservations in advance and made payments on their Disneyland tickets for a year to make their dream vacation a reality. Read more »

Coconut Power

Calico made a pineapple upside-down cake the other day and spooned a generous portion of coconut into the mix.  It added a new and incredibly delicious twist.  Coconut meat, flakes and milk make frequent appearances in our cuisine, but I’d never given much thought to coconut husks.  The long fibers of coconut husks are used in the manufacture  of many products including ropes, aquarium filters, brushes and insulation.  The shorter fibers used to be discarded, but are now marketed as a soil enhancer.
