Shake, Rattle and Roll

41st century museum visitors shuddered as they viewed the reconstructed model of an ancient torture device. (107)

“We can’t get off yet, Cindy. To fully appreciate the fun, you must ride until you hurl your lunch.” (101)

Ironic. Folks seek shelter from natural tornadoes, but pay to be shaken by mechanical ones. (95)

Calico loves amusement parks and lets herself be turned upside down and spun around without a second thought. Even as a kid, I stuck to the sedate merry-go-round rides. After a couple attempts on more daring rides, I accepted that I’m not into all that shake, rattle and roll!

    Good writes GMa!!! :)
I love the hurling your lunch part and the ancient torture machine was out of this world!
    Thank you.

I’m with you on spinning, oscillating and roller-coaster rides! I think I might even get nauseous on a carousel! My fave was the first one–spinning ride as ancient torture machine. Staying on the ride till you hurl was a close second.
