It had looked so easy. Fuzz decided to review a few more episodes of Star Trek before attempting another mind meld. (116)
It might have been faster and cheaper than laser eye surgery, but the only thing Puff saw clearly was a future with a seeing eye dog. (133)
“My love for you is torrid, but what’s that on your forehead?”
“I think it’s plain to see, that there ain’t no bugs on me.” (122)
The last story brought immediate thoughts of the Advantik commercial. When I searched for it, I was surprised to learn that the song didn’t originate with the commercial. I’m not sure how far back it goes, but I did find this 1928 recording of the song.

This week’s word was torrid.

Great fun all, but as a Trekkie, the first has to be best.

You and I had the same thoughts on the second one methinks.

Hihi! (✿◠‿◠) To me it looks like Fuzz really has a grip on mind melding.

Aw, that poor little passive kitten with the controlling sibling. The passive kitty reminds me of me when I was young and had a bossy, controlling sister 12 months older than I. TMI. All three of these gave me a chuckle, though the mind-meld one made me laugh the most.

I love the top picture. How cute! We keep getting ticks on our dogs. We use Advantage Multi which kills everything but ticks. It does, however, replace the heart worm pill, which is great.

GMa, sorry I’m late. I got busy. Now I have to look to see who else I missed.
You have a good bunch here.
So my favorite is the last one, last line, “ain’t no bugs on me.” So the song is appropriate. I heard it a few times but not much. Don’t know which year’s recording or who it was.
