My sister-in-law speaks four languages fluently. Through the years, she has helped folks, who needed to communicate with those who speak Japanese, French or Italian. Still, she claimed that she was not qualified to do French, Japanese or Italian translations. I felt that was rather self-deprecating, until I worked for an employer, whose expansion included opening branch offices worldwide. Read more »
